NorthLeft 010: In Bloom

>>NorthLeft 010: In Bloom | The Timbre Room | 5/25/2019, 10PM - 2AM<<

Ahhh spring...love, hope, rebirth...all of that. Then there’s Seattle where we’ve had little to no spring to speak of. So let’s celebrate spring the Seattle way and who better to do it with than with the dark heaviness that is NorthLeft. We are proud to bring you our 10th incarnation, NorthLeft 010: In Bloom. It goes without question by now...you know we’re coming at you with a diverse lineup of the very best DJs the Northwest has to offer.

**Miss Min.D B2B Binah Cereus**
Miss Min.D (Fraktured/Soft Option DLC)
Miss Min.D easily has one of the most diverse and unique palates amongst Seattle DJs with track selections that draw from UK Hard House, Electro House, Disco swing house, Booty Breaks and Liquid Drum and Bass. Her style and presence behind the decks is a force to be reckoned with and has made her one the most beloved performers in Seattle. Over more than a decade, Miss Min.D has become a prolific local DJ, performing in almost every major venue in the city, with a well deserved reputation for track selection and an unmistakable energy.

Binah Cereus (Fraktured/CRATE)
Originally from France, Binah relocated to the Northwest and quickly made herself a fixture of the Seattle scene. Her sound tends to reside on the darkside (which is why we love her!), specializing in breakbeats but also having a wide range of styles that she draws from. She, along with Jaime Cereus, are part of the amazing combination of Cereus Squared which has a unique combination of breaks and hard techno. Her knowledge of all things electronic music, from technical knowhow to track selection to mixing is rarely seen in these parts. Don’t let the fact that Binah is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet fool you...she’ll pound you into the ground with the intensity of her sets.

Tony H (Late Night Munchies/Tilted Records/NorthLeft)
Tony has been an integral part of the NorthLeft experience from the very start. Originally from Panama, Tony burst on the Seattle scene seemingly from nowhere. Easily one of the hardest working DJs in Seattle, Tony’s popularity as a DJ has risen exponentially due to his unmatched skill and ability to operate over a wide spectrum of styles and genres. His unmistakable sound and stage presence has made him an omnipresence across the entire scene. If you’ve ever wondered if any DJ could replace how significant Donald Glaude is to the Seattle scene, in terms of charisma, the ability to connect with the crowd and overall pure talent...this is your guy.

**Jeremy Linden (SCOHM/Housequake) B2B Hector Rodriguez (Underscore_Records/DLC)**
Jeremy Linden (SCOHM/Housequake)
Its probably fair to say, Linden is becoming a NL regular and for good reason...he’s that amazing. Back for his third show with us, this tried and true friend of NL consistently and flawlessly executes every set drawing from everything from deep house to the darkest corners of techno and all places in between. A native of Alaska, Jeremy is quickly becoming a frequent fixture in Seattle nightlife. This is largely due to how multi skilled and diverse this DJ is. He never fails to impress and surprise with his heavy and intense yet oddly calming sets.

Hector Rodriguez (Underscore_Records/DLC)
Finally! Finally! We are proud to announce Mr. Rodriguez’s first show at NL. A constant performer at major events and venues around town and a tireless supporter of the Seattle scene in general, Hector embodies diversity when he’s behind the decks. His style can range from the funkiest of house to the darkest of techno. His track selection and technical ability are second to none. He and Linden are a match made in heaven and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.

Shamrock (NorthLeft/PiUnltd)
Shamrock is some guy who pays the bills and designs our flyers...he also happens to be a decent DJ too. A native of Seattle’s southend and founder of NorthLeft, unlike the rest of the lineup, Shamrock’s musical formula almost exclusively consists of an odd and unique hybrid of dark progressive house out of northern Europe and various styles of techno with little deviation. Methodical and intense, he follows in the steps of artists such as Jimmy Van M who compose multiple sets before a gig and improvise the transitions given the tone of the crowd. He may surprise you.
