ROBOT & RAVIDAT Brian Keever (P.S., goldbones), and Terence Bonsey (Sleeping Lessons, goldbones, Uh Oh, and Don't Talk To The Cops!) set out with the intention of writing music that defied the norms of Seattle shows. Getting people to let loose, and dance. Adding Kit Blood (P.S.), Hunter Boen (My Cartoon Heart, goldbones, Uh Oh), and Marisa Figueroa (Filthy Femme Corps, Chaotic Noise) to the project made everything fall right into place. With tons of synthesizers, huge bass, harmonized group vocals, and stacked drum sounds, Robot and Ravidat found their sound. Their first single, Om, and second single, Cap Hill, brought dance tunes to life, and crowds to match. https://robotandravidat.bandcamp.com/
JAYOMI Jayomi, a Seattle-based indie surf rock quartet, brings a fresh, nurturing, violin-fronted, punk energy to the underground music scene. Frontman Jon Wu started writing the band’s premier album Wet Burrito in the basement of his brother’s coworking space at the beginning of 2019 – his goal being to compose a garage rock masterpiece by fusing the intricacy of classical interweaving countermelodies with the gritty, distorted guitar sounds prevalent in modern-day garage rock. Embracing core values of vulnerability, inclusivity, and freedom of self-expression, Francisco Solis (guitar), Lizz Slabaugh (bass and vocals), and Casey Hudlow (drums) joined forces with Jon in May of 2019. Shortly after the band’s formation, Jayomi released music video accompanied singles Tropical Wasteland and Letter from Elise, attracting buzz from the online indie music community as well as local radio stations. The full Wet Burrito album released in October of 2019 and appeared on KEXP's Abbie Gobeli's Top 10 Albums of 2019.
POWERBLEEDER Powerbleeder is a weird pop band living in Seattle currently preparing for their Japan Tour April 2020! Songs are an ebb and flow of Beatles-like storytelling, chromatic circus leads, deep fuzzy chaos when it counts, and David Plell’s personal swing on Japanese 80’s vibes. It’s all glued together by catchy vocal lines and harmonies that show off miniature incompatibilities with playful innocence.
