mintwhisper is a portland-based, san diego rooted dj shaped by the bay area and east coast, whose selections range from deep house and dubby grooves to ambient textures and club-driven rhythms. grounded in her perspective as a Black queer artist, her sets are guided by groove, atmosphere, and emotional flow, unfolding worlds that blend warm basslines, layered percussion, and lush details into a shared, physical experience. drawing from jazz improvisation and underground club culture, her sound balances intimacy and momentum, creating dancefloors that feel both reflective and alive. she has played alongside artists such as Suze Ijó and hosts The Garden, a monthly radio show on @samewaveradio exploring warm, immersive, groove-forward sounds across house, soul, jazz, and beyond.
