Clamma Slamma

  • Timbre Room 1809 Minor Avenue Seattle, WA, 98101 United States (map)

Thursday, July 23 | 8PM - 12AM

A true West Coast affair, bringing in talent from Tacoma, Seattle, and Victoria. Come listen to house, techno, and everything in between at the classic Timbre Room. Featuring:

Chill Bengal - Long time crowd presence in the Seattle music scene, and past sound tech, Chill Bengal brings a technical yet approachable aspect to his sets.   Raised on DJing high school/college house parties and spinning on a college radio (KUPS) show, Chill Bengal incorporates hip hop, rap, and pop into his sound.  Laying down the groove with New School/Old School house, Chill Bengal chops it up between bouncier and darker sounds, making for a perfect start to the night.

KIIK - Bringing deep rolling basslines, chunky beats, and hypnotic elements, KIIK will keep you on the floor until the lights come on.  Behind the decks, she is electric.  In constant flow - feeding off the room and giving it right back.  Based out of Victoria, BC where she curates nightlife, including Clamma Slamma's Canadian sister show, Ram Jam.

10k1 - 10k1 is the ten thousand and first iteration of a dance music odyssey.  Starting their journey by digging through the electronica section of the mall record store, where every genre of electronic music lived, with their mom.  Now exhilarating dance floors up and down the West Coast with infectious energy and deep love.

Max Mauer - After over a decade behind the decks, Max Mauer still finds that the best part of the day is when he is spinning. He's big smiles and pure fun, whether he's moving through techno, tech house, house, deep house, or disco.  He maintains that techno is the real bass music.
