Impact! 100%

  • Kremwerk Complex 1809 Minor Avenue Seattle, WA, 98101 United States (map)

Almost four years in the making, it’s time to mark our centennial with a three stage Kremwerk takeover at 100% IMPACT running nine hours! We’ve successfully, (to various degrees :P), managed to do 100 shows, and to celebrate we’re taking over all three stages at Kremwerk, where we’re bringing one of the most diverse and unforgettable lineups we’ve ever done to celebrate! Whereas Newcores is about celebrating our year with those who helped make it happen, this celebration is about celebrating all that you and I are, have been, and will be. This will be our biggest event of the year, hands down, and y’all will never forget it, this party of past, present, and future.

Another star-studded lineup for another unforgettable night representing such a broad gamut we could never have dreamed of not long ago. Because as Impact! we’ve come such a long way from when we started, all the way back with Newcores Eve. If you look at the flyer, you’ll see a lineup composed of the three genres we were founded on: Hardcore, Breakcore, and Drum ‘n’ Bass. Seattle desperately needed more raves for those genres, and our cofounders, early crew, and friends helped turn that desire into a snowball. But such a diverse crowd had interests beyond these three core genres, and slowly that love started to show through making our org have a bit of a split personality.

The backgrounds of our community and new crew brought in sounds and scenes that the original folks weren’t a part of, and we all, as a scene, started branching out into those areas as we realized Impact! could be a vehicle for all that makes us tick. From bringing beanbags and live ambient to the club with Dream Pool, to some of the first furry raves outside a con with Happy Barkcore, to slowing it down and keeping everyone on the floor with Technocore, and dipping our toes into nonprofit work with Howl At The Moon, Impact! started to become a lot more than it was at inception. Through this expansion, we remained at our core a Seattle rave organization, first and foremost representing all the facets of our local scene’s love.

What started as growth eventually turned to a landslide as 2025 hit. We hosted a drag show for the first time with Purrlesque, Furswap became a phenomenon of an art market with folks traveling in to support our city’s artists, and we threw a goddamn two day festival for the first time with First Impact! In the wake of these, IDM with deconstructed club, footwork, a show in New York, dub techno, legends performing live, an unrated show, bringing the online to the real world, and baile funk flex the eclecticness of our lives… Oh, and a fucking label to boot. Along the way we’ve become so much more than we ever intended to be at the start, when it was just a few of us and a dream.

Today, we’re seeing that dream become manifest. Impact! has grown to be one of the crown jewels in the US of the hard dance revival, of the furry concert explosion, of trans and queer culture, and so much more. Only a city so unhinged could be such a beacon for all this. That city where wolf ears line the streets, tails knock over drinks, unironed trans flags above the sheets, and fast beats come from every club and radio.

So what even is Impact! now? Joy, in a word. It’s the party that helps make you and I feel that our interests are wanted; that people want to see these interests bloom into tomorrow. A place to dress however makes you comfortable, for trans folks, therians, and everyone under the sun to feel at ease in their sense of self among peers and allies. It’s the platform so many artists can share their love of the arts to and find comradery in. Spaces that take the music made in our bedrooms to stages, drawings to the walls of friends, and a place for every type of artist to find a home. Social webs that stretch nationally to help us feel comfortable in any city and town we land. Aiding in building ways in which we can support ourselves through nonprofits and movements that have grown out of our community and helping establish livelihoods. We’re not just one thing or another, we’re an echo of everything we all care about and want to support. A hotspot you can call home in this world as we all continue to grow in our own ways and hone all our interests in this shared love we sweat on the dancefloor and the panted words between bass hits. It’s our joy and our dreams.

Now let’s keep building our futures together. Can’t wait to see y’all in the floor <3
